Former QB Reich to coach Cardinals WRs (AP)

The Arizona Cardinals have moved Mike McNulty to quarterbacks coach and hired longtime NFL quarterback Frank Reich to coach wide receivers. McNulty replaces Chris Miller, who was fired after last season. McNulty had been Arizona’s wide receivers coach the past three seasons. Reich spent the last six seasons on the staff of the Indianapolis Colts, the last one as wide receivers coach.

Bears hire Bucs’ Holt as OL coach (AP)

The Chicago Bears have hired Tim Holt as their offensive line coach. The move announced Wednesday completes the coaching staff for next season. Holt takes over for Mike Tice, who was promoted to offensive coordinator after the departure of Mike Martz. Tice was widely credited with getting the most out of an undermanned line the past two years and still figures to play a big role with that unit.

Packers raising ticket prices $3 to $5 (AP)

The Green Bay Packers are raising prices between $3 and $5 per ticket for the 2012 season. Tickets in Lambeau Field’s end-zone sections will increase $3 to $72 per game, tickets from the 20-yard line to the end zone will increase $4 to $80, and tickets between the 20s will increase $5 to $92. Suite tickets also will increase $5 to $92.

Baltimore Ravens running back Ricky Williams says he’s retiring from football. The 34-year-old Williams still has a year left on his contract with Baltimore, but told the team Tuesday that he does not intend to play next year. After winning the Heisman Trophy with Texas, Williams broke into the NFL in 1999 with the New Orleans Saints.

Steelers pick Haley to run offense (AP)

The Steelers have named Todd Haley their new offensive coordinator. Haley, 45, will replace Bruce Arians, now with the Indianapolis Colts, and will inherit an offense that scored 325 points last season en route to finishing 12-4. Haley was fired by Kansas City on Dec. 13, after going 19-26 in two-plus seasons with the Chiefs, leading them to the 2010 AFC West title.
